ℹ️ If you do not have access to ‘Users and roles’ you may not have the correct user permissions

Multiple users can be added to an organisation each with their own login. A user can access to multiple organisations.

There are no limits or charges for inviting users to an organisation.

Roles explained

Each role provides a user with different levels of access to an organisation. If a user is unable to see or access a specific section of the control panel this is likely to be a restriction of their assigned role.


  • Owner is the primary contact for an organisation with unrestricted permissions. This user cannot be deleted.
  • Super Admin has unrestricted permissions but can not delete the ‘Owner’.
  • System Administrator can manage servers and services, customers, website, global and custom service settings and platform settings.
  • Support can manage customers and customer websites.
  • Business can manage packages and branding settings.
  • Collaborator can only manage the website(s) they have been granted access to.

Invite a user

A user can be invited to an organisation by an Owner or Super admin user.

To invite a new user to an organisation:

  1. Open ‘Users’ in the left side bar
  2. Click ‘Invite user’ in the right top-side of the screen
  3. Complete the form with the details of the user you’d like to invite
  4. Click the ‘Invite’ button to finish


Once the user is invited, they will have to click the link in the invitation email and set up their account. An invitation automatically expires after 10 days.

Transfer account ownership

An Owner can transfer full ownership of an organisation to an active Super admin user on their account.

Transferring account ownership will relinquish ownership and demote your role to Super admin. This action cannot be undone.

To transfer account ownership:

  1. Open ‘Users’ in the left side bar
  2. Click on the user you would like to transfer account ownership to
  3. Click the ‘Make owner’ button in the confirmation modal to finish

Troubleshooting

I have not received my user invite by email

  1. Check your junk folder
  2. Check the configuration for 'System generated emails' in 'Platform settings'
