About packages
A package is a predefined set of resources and tools that you can subscribe a customer too.
There is no limit to the number of hosting packages you can create.
Add a hosting package
Package resources are assigned on a monthly basis with hard limits.
To add a hosting package:
- Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar
- Select ‘Packages’
- Click ‘Add package’
- Complete the form and click ‘Add package’ to finish
Add a Dedicated package
A dedicated package allows you to tie a hosting package to a dedicated set of resources.
To add a dedicated package:
- Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar
- Select ‘Packages’
- Click 'Add package'
- Complete the form and make sure that 'Dedicated' is toggled on in the 'Details' section. Click 'Save' to finish.
- Next, add or locate the customer you would like to subscribe to the dedicated package.
- Subscribe the package you created. At this point you will be prompted to assign servers to the package.
Editing a hosting package
A package can be edited at any point.
ℹ️ Any changes made to a package will automatically be applied to existing package subscribers
To edit a hosting package:
- Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar
- Select ‘Packages’
- Click ‘Edit’ in the drop down menu for the package you would like to edit
- Click ‘Save’ to finish
Delete a hosting package
It is not possible to delete a package that has subscribers.
To delete a hosting package:
- Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar
- Select ‘Packages’
- Click ‘Delete’ in the drop down menu for the package you would like to delete.
- Click ‘Delete’ to finish
Package server groups

If you are adding a 'Shared' package you can set packages to provision to a specific server group. The general server placement logic will be limited to servers within that group.
You may want to map plans to groups of servers with particular configurations or in specific data centres.
This can be overridden when creating a website as the master organisation and also by subscription dedicated servers.
Subscribing a customer to a package
ℹ️ Enhance supports multiple package management, meaning a customer can be subscribed to and manage multiple packages from a single login.
A customer can be subscribed to a package when the customer is created or after creation.
To subscribe a new customer to a package:
- Click ‘Customers’ in the left sidebar
- Select 'Add customer'
- Complete the form and select a package in the 'Package' drop down
- If you are subscribing a customer to a dedicated package (indicated by the DEDI tag) you will be asked at this point to select the 'Service locations' for the dedicated package.
- Click ‘Add’ to finish
ℹ️ If you do not see the 'Package' field this is because you have not yet added a hosting package to your platform
To subscribe an existing customer to a package:
- Click ‘Customers’ in the left sidebar
- Select the customer you would like to edit
- Visit the ‘Packages’ tab and select 'Subscribe package'
- In the modal select the package you would like to subscribe the customer
If you are subscribing a customer to a dedicated package (indicated by the DEDI tag) you will be asked at this point to select the 'Service locations' for the dedicated package.
