Restore a Backup

There are three types of website restores:

All mailboxes this will restore all email accounts and forwarders

Full website this will restore all files and databases

Custom this will restore only the files, databases and email accounts selected (this can be any combination)

To restore a website backup:

1. Open Websites in the left side bar
2. Select the website you would like to restore to a backup
3. When the website dashboard loads select the Advanced drop down in the top navigation, then click Backups
4. Navigate to the backup you would like to restore and select Restore
5. Select the type of restore - either Email , Website or Custom

Selecting All mailboxes will restore all email accounts on the website. Selecting Full website will restore all files and databases. This excludes email accounts. Selecting Custom will allow you to select any combination of files, databases and/or email accounts.

WARNING

Database users will not be restored when performaing a custom database restore. To restore database users all databases must be selected as part of the restore.

WARNING

Any changes made between your last backup and the point of restoration will be deleted and may not be recoverable.
